Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Lead Technician to oversee daily operations. This role combines hands-on diagnostics and repair work with leadership responsibilities, ensuring high-quality service and efficient workflow. The technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles are operating at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced diagnostics, drivability assessments and complex repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Skilled in alignment, steering, and suspension diagnosis/repair
- Strong diagnostic skills for engines and electrical systems.
- Lead, supervise, and mentor junior technicians to maintain consistent quality and productivity
- Inspect vehicles for quality control prior to delivery
- Collaborate with management to improve shop efficiency
Requirements:
- ASE Certifications preferred
- 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience
- Proficient in diagnostics, drivability, and electrical system
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools, repair procedures, and safety protocols
- Own diagnostic tools preferred
